I am very interested in environmental issues, and have been recycling since I was a young child. When I started college, I wanted to major in biology and study marine plants. But then I got a D in calculus. I love to read, and can usually be found reading if I'm not working or hanging out with my friends. Some favorites include the "Harry Potter" series, the "Animorphs" series, "The Chronicles of Narnia" and anything written by Douglas Adams.

For a number of years I took horseback-riding lessons, and was involved in 4H. I love coffee, avocados, and of course mashed potatoes.
I took horseback riding for about seven years as a teen and am hoping to get back into it once I have money, which may never happen, seeing as I'm hoping to be a copy editor. But one can dream.
I love to travel, whether by car, bus, train or plane. Places I've particularly liked include:
