I've worked at four newspapers (including Illinois' third-largest daily), free-lanced, and made excursions into the world of online video, podcasting and photo/audio slideshows. I have experience editing for specific markets, such as a college audience, and for the general public. I am willing to relocate.

The Daily Eastern News, Eastern Illinois University's daily school paper. The DEN has a circulation of 9,000, and covers Eastern's campus, the city of Charleston, Ill., and the surrounding area, Coles County.

The Glacier
The Glacier, Moraine Valley's biweekly school paper. The Glacier has a circulation of 4,000, and covers Moraine's main Palos Hills, Ill., campus, and two satellite campuses.

- Helped section editors develop per-issue and semester-long budgets.
- Proofed all pages before publication.
- Ran writing staff meetings and editorial meetings.
- Responsible for hiring staff.
